2921 Masai of Kenya

North British Tribal Class 2-8-2

The ubiquitous workhorses of East Africa were the three Tribal classes built by North British. The first 20 class 29 locomotives were ordered in 1951, followed by a further 11 in 1955. They were numbered 2901 - 2931. Masai of Kenya was withdrawn in 1980.
